** Kindergarten Registration **
  

 Kindergarten registration for the 2012-2013 school year will be during the month of April. The dates of registration are tentatively scheduled for April 12th and 19th from 9:30-3:00 at the Marengo United Methodist Church. If the dates change, we will make sure this is posted on our websites, newspaper and sent home with all elementary students. Students must be 5 years old on or before August 1st. Parents you will need to call the district office to schedule an appointment for one of the registration dates starting March 12th. Parents will need to bring the child's original birth certificate, immunization records, social security card, proof of residency and custody papers if it applies to the registration. The Kindergarten teachers will share a power point presentation to parents about Kindergarten expectations. The students will be assessed by our K-teachers on basic skills, screened for vision/hearing by our school nurse, and speech by our speech therapist as needed. Each parent will be given the opportunity to speak with a teacher to discuss your child's assessment afterwards. We look forward to meeting you and your child during registration.
