Highland Local Schools is dedicated with providing resources to our students affected by parents in the military. We strive to make the transition with school as easy as possible with the commitment their loved ones have made to serve our country.

Military Interstate Children’s Compact Commission
Provides uniform treatment as military children transfer between school districts.
Offers referrals to professional counselors for non-medical counseling.
Instructional Assistance:
Provides 24 hour free tutoring and homework help for military connected youth.
Provides and online study program to help students prepare for standardized tests.

Offers consultants to families for assistance with questions and concerns regarding the care and education of a family member with special needs.
Scholarship Opportunities
Awards tuition assistance to children of fallen or severely disabled veterans who served during a period of declared conflict or war.
